Local auto-theft operation busted

- An auto-theft ring of 13 people was broken up Friday following an investigation by local, state and federal agencies. Investigators raided a "chop shop" operation in the 1000 block of Kessler Drive where early estimates suggest more than $500,000 in stolen vehicles and parts were recovered. The 13 arrested are: Sean Doss, 26; Nicolas Falcon, 34; Miguel Valiente, 32; Derek Tejeda, 22; Jorge Rodriguez, 22; Nancy Lomas, 31; Monica Borjon, 31; Eugene Rodriguez, 21; David Villalobos, 25; Ramon Martinez, 50; Robby Doss, 41; Christopher Belt, 26; and Ruben Corona, 32. Most of the suspects are from El Paso.
