Marriage Ė Yost & Rojas Guillermo and Maria Rojas, of El Paso, Texas are pleased to announce the marriage of their son, Michael Rojas, to Dawn Marie Yost, daughter of Colleen and Ron Yost, of Indio California. The couple exchanged their wedding vows on Nov. 21, 2009 at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Jim Burke of Indio, California. The groom is presently serving in the U.S. Marine Corps in 29 Palms Marine Corps Base with the 1st Marine Division, having just completed his second deployment to Iraq. The bride is a registered nurse and works in the Natal Intensive Care Unit in JFK Memorial Hospital in Indio, California.

Congratulations Tinajero Congratulations Bert!!!Roberto Jose Sr. and Dr. Josie V. Tinajero proudly announce the educational achievements of their son, Robert (Bert) Tinajero II, Ph.D. Bert completed all requirements for the Ph.D. in Rhetoric and Writing Studies from the Department of English at the University of Texas at El Paso in November 2009 (Dr. Elaine Fredericksen, Dissertation Chair). He will receive his degree and UTEPís Commencement Ceremony on December 12 at the Don Haskins Center at 9:00AM. Bert received his BA (Bachelor of Arts) degree from Austin College in English and Religion in 1998, his MTS (Master of Theological Studies) degree from SMU in 2000 and his MFA (Master of Fine Arts) degree in Creative Writing from the University of Houston in 2004. Prior to that, Bert attended Kindergarten at UTEPís College of Education from 1981-1982, Texas A&I University/Kingsville Child Care Center, 1978-1980, and St. Mary;s University Child Development Center in San Antonio from 1980-1981. He attended Ramona Elementary School, Riverside Middle School, and graduated from Riverside High School in 1994. He is currently an Assistant Professor of English at Tarrant County Community College in Dallas, Texas. We give thanks and glory to the Lord for making it possible for our son to achieve his goals.Dr. Robert (Bert) Tinajero II, we are very proud of you!We love you.
