Alfonso Borrego Sr. sat still as El Paso artist Manny Guerra painted a chalk portrait of him in the historic Veteran's Memorial Plaza in San Elizario Sunday.  Guerra was among many local artisans at the monthly Mission Trail Art Market displaying their crafts in the shadow of the historic San Elizario Chapel. The market, hosted by the El Paso Mission Trail Association, Al Borrego, Main Street Gallery and Rulis' International Kitchen happens on the third Sunday of each month. Sunday's event was the largest outdoor art event in El Paso County history in terms of the number of artists and craftspeople who participated, said orgaznizer Al Borrego.
