Senior U.S. District Judge David Briones spoke following the unveiling of his painting Monday afternoon at the U.S. Courthouse. Briones was honored for his service as a federal judge. He began his service in 1994 after being nominated by President Bill Clinton.

The youngster, who has experienced a series of challenging health conditions throughout his life was chosen to be the Texas 2009 Children's Miracle Netwook Champion.
