07/22/1969 CONTINUES EFFORT - Prior to his orientation flight in an Air Force Missile Development Center F-4D Phantom II, William T. Farah, El Paso, gets a last minute check on his parachute harness by Col. Jack D. Beckelman, director of Aircraft and Missile Test. Col. Beckelman served as a pilot for the one-hour orientation ride. Farah has been interested in aviation since World War II when he was an Air Force pilot and flight instructor. His ride was part of a continuing effort to orient prominent businessmen and civic leaders to the Air Force commission.

06/10/1971 VALUABLE GIFT - William Farah, co-owner of Camelot Apartments, presents the deed for two acres of land worth $50,000 to Dr. Floyd Fierman, rabbi of Temple Mt. Sinai. The land located directly east of the Temple grounds is a personal gift from Farah and co-owner Jonathan Rogers. Rabbi Fierman said that his congregation is very appreciative of the gift of land which he said will eventually enhance the entire site.
