Each year, the Good Samaritan Society White Acres Retirement Community honors residents in its senior living apartment who are 90 or older with a special dinner on Valentine's Day. This year, 49 residents celebrated. Included in that group are six couples who have been married for more than 60 years. Evelyn and Jim Pofahl were recognized for being married 70 years.
