Fort Bliss National Cemetery Wreaths

More than 250 people volunteered to place wreaths on graves at Fort Bliss National Cemetery as part of the 2010 Wreaths Across America program Friday. The group of volunteers was comprised of Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps from several area high schools, Civil Air Patrol cadets and family members of veterans and soldiers. Together they put 3,780 wreaths on the graves. On Saturday, the Civil Air Patrol held a ceremony to honor each branch of the armed services from 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.
