A group of Juarenses lay on Juarez Ave. at the foot of the Santa Fe bridge Saturday to protest the violence that has gripped the city. An estimated 1,700 people, many of them students marched from the Benito Juarez mounument to the bridge, where they blocked traffic for about an hour. Mothers of the victims of the recent massacre were joined by various anti-violence organizations to protest he incompetence of municipal, state and federal governments in their efforts at stemming the violence.
