Jennifer Anne Harris and Jason Paul Smith were married on September 13, 2008 at St. Mary Cathedral in Austin, Texas with Reverend Albert Laforet, Jr. officiating. Jennifer is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David Harris of El Paso, Texas. Jason is the son of Mr. Paul Smith of San Antonio, Texas and Ms. Norma Smith of Houston, Texas. Carolyn Henley, childhood friend, served as Maid of Honor. Long time friends, Cynthia Hartman, Cameron Luciano, Cecily Jeser-Cannavale, Karlene Andrews, and Evelyn Harris, sister-in-law of the bride, attended as bridesmaids. Charles Bludau, high school friend, served as Best Man. Long time friends, Rusty Armstrong, Mike Smith, Christopher Love, David Monahan, and Mark Harris, brother of the bride, served as groomsmen. Kaylee Harris, niece of the bride, and Skylar Reinfelder, cousin of the bride, served as flower girls. Eric Smith, nephew of the groom, served as ring bearer. Christian and John Connor Flick, cousins of the bride, served as ushers. Following the ceremony, family and friends celebrated with the newlyweds at a reception at the Headliner’s Club overlooking downtown Austin. The couple honeymooned on a cruise to the Mexican Riviera. Jennifer and Jason currently reside in El Paso where Jennifer is a Speech-Language Pathologist with Rio Grande Speech Therapy Group and Jason is a manager for P.F. Chang’s China Bistro. . The couple plans to relocate to Austin, Texas in the future.
