Monica Andrea Flores and Dr. Rene Ernesto Muro were married on October 24, 2008 at St. Patrick Cathedral, El Paso, Texas, with the Father Blake Fry officiating.
The bride wore a strapless column gown of imported duchess satin with a sweetheart neckline accented with french lace on the bodice. Her veil was made with silk tulle adorned with lace from the veil worn by her grandmother, Esperanza R. Alderete. The gown was custom made by Brides by Liza of Los Angeles, California.
Maid of honor was Melisa Santillano, best friend of the bride.
Bridesmaids were Natalie Sue Alderete and Michelle Alderete, cousins of the bride, Lauren Levine and Yvonne Cadena. They wore black tea length chiffon dresses by the Watters Bridesmaid Collection.
Best man was Ruben Antonio Muro, brother of the groom.
Groomsmen were Dr. Jesus Rios, Dr. Juan Perez, Dr. Stephen Lester and Dr. Kevin Delaney. They wore classic black tie tuxedos.
After the ceremony, guests were hosted by the bride's parents Edward Flores, Jr. and Patricia Alderete Flores to an evening of dinner and dancing at the Camino Real Hotel..
After a 12 day honeymoon trip to Bora Bora, Tahiti, the couple returned to Dallas, Texas where the groom is an anesthesiologist with Metropolitan Anesthesia Consultants.
